ASUW SHELL HOUSE

The ASUW Shell House is one of only two remaining WWI airplane hangars in the U.S. and holds a significant place in history as the training ground for the University of Washington's rowing team, which won the 1936 Olympics in Nazi Germany. This iconic building is now part of a capital campaign to preserve and transform it into a vibrant gathering space for UW students, connecting the past with the future.
